MEXICAN COUPLES ACCUSED OF BEATING FOUR OLD NIECE TO DEATH BECAUSE HE COULDNT COUNT

A Mexican couple have been accused of beating a four-year-old boy to death because he couldn't count.

The child, named by police as Raúl Antonio, was allegedly beaten in by his aunt and uncle till he showed no signs of life, in Ecatepec, in the suburbs of Mexico City, on Tuesday.

MarÌa Guadalupe Tovar Hernández, 33, and Guillermo Delgadillo Becerra, 43, confessed to killing Raúl and dumping his tiny dead body on waste ground, a statement from Ecatepec police said.

The young boy had been abandoned by his mother and was then raised by his aunt and uncle -- his two legal guardians.

 Derek Medina, 31, turrned himself in to police after confessing to murder on facebook and to his father, the body of his 26yr old wife Jennifer Alfonso was found in their Miami Home, the couples 10yr old daughter was also found but not harmed.It was reported on Thursday morning that Derek walked in to the police station and turned himself in confessing that he had shot his wife following a domestic dispute. According to what Derek told his father,he said he and his wife had a big fight  and next thing she picked up a knife and he shot her,his father drove him to the police station where he turned himself in,before the incident his father also admitted that the couples relationship has been rocky for sometime now, the two got a divorce after three years of marriage but they tied the knot last year.

A young model was found stabbed to death with her three-year old-daughter ‘crying next to her in a pool of blood’, friends said today.


The body of Linah Keza, 29, understood to have taken part in Miss Africa 2010, was found at a flat in King Edward Road, Leyton, early yesterday morning.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

London Ambulance Service paramedics accompanied police to the address just before 4.30am, but Linah, a Rwandan national living in London, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The suspects granted bail – Nonso Ezike (22), who is the younger brother to Olisaeloka, one of the alleged killers, and Ezeaka Chinonso (27) – were arrested by policemen at Area E for receiving and selling Cynthia’s BlackBerry phone.

Monster: James Paterson was jailed for life after he was found guilty of subjecting three pregnant women to a catalogue of violence, including stamping on their stomachs

A violent monster who terrorised pregnant women by stamping on their stomachs and trying to strangle them to death was sentence to life in prison today.

James Paterson had earlier been found guilty of three murder attempts, two rapes and assaulting a baby boy, who was less than three months old.

The trial had heard how the 24-year-old had stamped so hard on one pregnant victim he left footprints on her stomach, while another told how she still bore teeth marks where Paterson had bitten her two years earlier.

He was said to have jumped on a woman’s 'baby bump' as if it were a trampoline and all three women told a jury they had feared for their lives when Paterson tried to throttle them.

During his trial a 22-year-old woman told how Paterson had tried to set her on fire with an aerosol spray, struck her with a knife, run over her foot with a car when she was pregnant and threatened to kill her unborn child.

He also beat her with a baseball bat and dragged her around by the hair.

The woman - who like Paterson’s other victims cannot be identified for legal reasons - also told how he bit her face, wrapped electrical cables round her neck, ripped off her clothes and raped her.

Another 20-year-old woman described how she passed out when Paterson grabbed her by the throat and stopped her breathing and how he kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant, bit her on the body and raped her.

A third mum, aged 23, said Paterson subjected her to a catalogue of violence which started when she was between four and five months pregnant, including stamping on her stomach.

Man, 47, 'helped his wife, 49, kill herself because they were having financial troubles'

A man allegedly helped his wife commit suicide after she said she wanted to kill herself because of their financial troubles.

Mark A. Kelly, 47, allegedly bought and set up equipment for his wife, Sonia Marie Dixon, 49, to asphyxiate herself with helium, authorities said.

Kelly, from Harris County, Texas, bought the items for a 'suicide bag', the County Sheriff's Office said.

Graduate commits suicide over girlfriend

For the family and friends of a young man identified as Chijioke who lived of 98 Abel Jumbo Street, in Mile Two, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, June 24, will forever be remembered as a Black Sunday.

While the young man’s family members are wallowing in mourning, neighbours and acquaintance too are still reeling from shock over his sudden death. The question everyone is asking is: Why would a young, able-bodied graduate choose to take his own life on account of a woman?

The person in question, Chijioke, age 23, a native of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, and the son of a female Chief Matron with the Rivers State Health Management Board, allegedly committed suicide at his residence two hours after he was granted bail by the Diobu Police Station after he was arrested and detained for harassing his girlfriend.

9 construction workers slaughtered in Borno

MAIDUGURI – NINE construction workers, working on Shehu of Borno Central Mosque, Maiduguri, Borno State, were killed in the early hours of Monday. They were reportedly slaughtered in their sleep.

Meanwhile, some Islamic scholars have been going round Maiduguri and Jere towns with security escorts in open pick-up vans filled with the Holy Qurans and loud speakers, appealing to the people not to kill their neighbours in the name of religion.

They warned that anybody who killed his fellow human being would equally face destruction as predicted in the Quran.

Confirming the massacre of the construction workers in a statement, the Joint Task Force, JTF Spokesman, Lt. Col. Sagir Musa, said: “Information available to JTF Operation Restore Order revealed that nine construction workers, working at the Shehu of Borno Central Mosque, were massacred by suspected terrorists at 1:45am today (yesterday).”

Pregnant Yoruba Woman Beaten To Death By Her Jealous Husband

A pregnant woman, Mrs. Funmilayo Ajibola, died last Wednesday in Badagry, Lagos State after being allegedly brutalised by her husband, Kola. The 30-year-old housewife had been a victim of domestic abuse for years before she died on the fateful day.




Funmilayo’s cousin, who spoke to our correspondent on the condition of anonymity, said Kola, a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was a jealous husband who always suspected his wife’s movements.


She said, “Kola is a very jealous husband. My cousin changed her phone lines more than 15 times throughout their six years marriage lasted because anytime Kola saw a strange number on her phone, he would destroy the SIM card.

Elize Ramos Kitano Matsunaga, 38, killed her husband, Marcos Kitano Matsunaga, 42, in their apartment in Sao Paulo, Brazil, last month after an argument over his infidelity.
Police found his body parts spread along a road in the city of Cotia, about 20 miles outside Sao Paulo.
