Is Diddy to wed? Engagement rumours intensify as girlfriend Cassie tweets photo of herself wearing diamond ring

He is known as one of the music industry's most notorious players, but it appears Sean 'Diddy' Combs may finally be ready to settle down.

For months now, rumours have been swirling that the 42-year-old music mogul has proposed to his girlfriend, Me & U singer Cassie Ventura.

Now the chatter has intensified after the brunette beauty, 25, tweeted a picture of her freshly manicured hands on Thursday, adorned with a large sparkler on her ring finger.

However, she didn't mention the ring and only wrote: 'Fresh nails!!'

Cassie was seen wearing the same sparkler as she enjoyed a holiday in Capri, Italy on August 14 with the rapper-turned-actor.

As the couple soaked up the sun on a yacht, Cassie wrapped an arm around Diddy, putting the large ring on display.

While the two have never publicly confirmed that they are an item, they've been linked for more than two years and are frequently photographed together.

They are yet to confirm their relationship but Diddy and Cassie let actions speak louder than words on holiday this week.

The pair looked loved up as they lounged in the sun together aboard a luxury yacht on Tuesday.

The couple, who met in 2006 when Cassie convinced Diddy’s label Bad Boy to launch her debut album, made the most of the Italian getaway and seemed to be in full holiday mode.

Diddy, 42, and his 25-year-old protégée spent the morning reclining in the sunshine and at one point both of them decided to go topless.

The rapper and record producer at one point was seen affectionately rubbing suncream into Cassie's back.

After enjoying the sunshine Cassie decided to take a dip in the sea to cool off.

It often occurs that a couple start dressing similarly when they’ve been together for some time but Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have taken it one step further. 

Rather than step out in matching outfits, the rapper and the reality TV star sported similar gold bracelets as they enjoyed a drink in New York today. 

Kim tweeted a picture of their arms stretched out to reach a glass of alcohol, showing her wearing a gold cuff, while her boyfriend Kanye wears a chunky bracelet in the same colour along with a slimmer one.

She simply titled the picture ‘His & Hers’.

She added another picture, showing a matching cuff on her other arm while Kanye also sported an intricate design.

Kardashian was clearly excited to spend time with her lover today, and took to Twitter to share her enthusiasm.

After first spending some time with her close friends Loren and Amber Ridinger at a spa, Kim quickly rushed off to see her man.

She tweeted ‘Feels so good to be back in NYC! Fun spa day with @lorenridinger & @amberridinger! Now off to a date w my babyboo lol’

Kim also took a very blurry picture of herself and Kanye in a car and wrote ‘Trying to take a pic of us in a moving far is not so easy! LOL (sic)’

Can you believe that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have been married for four years? The couple is celebrating their fourth anniversary today, along with the first birthday of "dembabies", twins Roc and Roe Cannon.

"Singing at this altitude is almost like giving birth to twins, which I did last year on this day.. lol! Happy birthday dembabies!!" Carey tweeted on Monday morning from Austria.

The couple celebrated their anniversary in Paris by renewing their vows atop the Eiffel Tower along with a silly photo shoot that recreated their engagement in 2008. They married later that year in a ceremony in the Bahamas.

"I think one of the most important things in a relationship is caring for your significant other through good times and bad," he said, adding that they celebrate their love by renewing their vows each year.

"Every day, my respect for Mariah continues to grow higher," Cannon said.
