On the 16th of August 2012, some of the A-list star in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry gathered at the Penthouse, Villa Picasso, 62B Ademola Adetokunbo, Victoria Island, Lagos for the video premiere of Hennessy Artistry's latest song"BARTENDER"  it features two Naija Top rap artist Naeto C and MI, unfortunately MI missed the occasion and he took to the  social networking service and microblogging service TWITTER to tender an apology and it goes thus  “I really want to apologise @HennessyNIGERIA and all their special guests for missing the launch tonight.. Unavoidable circumstances”.(well,i forgive him if no one does,lol)At the launch, it was announced that 7 Nigerian artistes - Dammy Krane, Ms. Jaie, Tunde Ednut, Raze, L.O.S, Flowssick and Burna Boy – will be joining the Hennessy Artistry Club Tour kicking off on Friday 31st August 2012 and will hold in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.Lynxxx, Yvonne “Vixen” Ekwere, Sasha, Ms. Jaie, Olisa Adibua, Clarence Peters, Dayo Ephraim and Efe Tommy graced the occasion amongst others,Trust Nigerians and their fashion sense,they all did incredibly well especially the men i would say,So proud of Nigerian Men.

Bobbi Kristina flaunts her romance with 'adopted brother' (Pictures)

It should have been their mother's night.

But following Whitney Houston's untimely death it was down to her daughter Bobbi Kristina and 'adopted son' Nick Gordon to take her place at the premiere on Sparkle tonight.

And it was as boyfriend and girlfriend that the pair walked the red carpet, following their coming out as a couple in the months since their mother's death.

Bobbi, 19, showed her curves in a clinging bandage dress, teamed with feathered stilettos. Her flawless red carpet look was completed by her mother's diamond ring on her hand.

Nick, 22, wore a sharp black suit, teamed with a diamond stud in his ear and a red handkerchief.

 

NIGERIAN WIZKID AND GHANA SARKODIE WINS BET AWARD FOR AFRICAN ACT

Nigerian music sensation , Ayodeji Balogun popularly known Wizkid as won the award for the Best African Act at the recently concluded BET Awards.This was a tie with Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie who carted the same award. Other nominees were,Iceprince, Lira from South Africa, Malian rapper,Makobe, and Kenyan RnB group,Campmulla from Kenya.

The show was held The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California, USA. It was hosted by veteran Hollywood actor, Samuel L Jackson. Wizkid showed his appreciation by tweeting"Thankful"

Chris Brown paints on muscles for performance at BETs

He had to come up with a special routine to stop people talking about his recent bar brawl with rival Drake.

And volatile Chris Brown just about managed it at the BET Awards tonight when he painted muscles onto his torso before strutting his stuff during an extravagant laser show.

He raised the level of performance even further by pulling off a series of acrobatic moves on stage, including handstands and back-flips, during a medley of Don't Wake Me Up and Turn Up The Music.

He was also surrounded by a group of dancers in muscle paint for the performance, launching the routine into new levels of camp.

Kim Kardashian may have been a little out of her depth this evening amongst the music industry elite.

But she certainly knows how to get noticed by the camera lens.

The reality star was seen wearing a striking backless gown that had an unzipped effect, with a chunky gold fastener resting at her hip while the cream creation slashed open to show a lot of flesh.

Perhaps her boredom was accompanied by a little irritation over the fact The Young And The Restless actress Eva Marcille attended the event in a very similar dress.

The former America's Next Top Model winner rocked a backless white dress, showing off her tattoos.

Eva, 27, was in high spirits and tweeting her support of the winners.

She wrote: 'Stepping out to #BET lovin life... Congrats @NICKIMINAJ on another well deserved #BETAwards12... Ok @chrisbrown for this Live Performance!!!!'

The atmosphere at the first Nollywood Movies Awards yesterday could be likened to that of an Oscar or Grammy.
The Civic Centre, venue of the awards ceremony was lively as Nollywood’s top shots added elegant colour to the event.
The red carpet was lively as Denrele and Rukky Sanda anchored it. The awards was hosted by Julius Agwu and Kate Henshaw.
Mercy Johnson won the Best Actress of the Years from the film, Weeping Soul while Joe Benjamin won the Best Actor of the Year from the movie, Tango With Me.
Genevieve Nnaji and Ramsey Nouah won the Viewers Choice Award in female and male categories respectively.

But it seems Kim Kardashian has now let down her guard as she preened and perfected herself in full view of the public ahead of her appearance on the red carpet last night.
The 31-year-old stunned when she showed up to the amfAR gala with a classic, Old Hollywood style look in a canary yellow gown to the Cinema Against AIDS event at the Hotel du Cap.
