THIS IS THE RESULT OF A DONKEY AN D A ZEBRA ''LOVE AFFAIR'' (PHOTOS)

Two animals decided to give God a reminder on why he never made them a couple in the beginning, a donkey and  zebra. Not too long ago, a zebra at the animal reserve in Florence, Italy looked at a donkey and I guess that after alot of thinking the zebra who was lonely decided that he needed an help mate so he approached the donkey and persuaded it to eat the apple, the donkey agreed with the zebra and this is the result of what happened................ a rare zebra/donkey hybrid and it was named IPPO, from the results we hear baby ippo is in good health and condition

The story at the beginning is actually mine, but i read the mind of the zebra and thought that, that was what it had in mind, otherwise why would a zebra want to mate with a donkey, and i also guess it was the only zebra in the zoo and since a donkey looks like one of their own the zebra decided to take a chance, anyways y'all should say hi to little ippo

What a MARVEL! EVER SEEN A LIZARD WITH STRIKING RESEMBLANCE WITH SPIDERMAN?(PHOTO)

One has to wonder whether this lizard's spider-senses are tingling. For the reptile bears more than a passing resemblance to the Marvel comic superhero Spiderman.
The lizard's amazing red and blue markings are strikingly similar to the suit worn by the crime-fighting, web-weaving daredevil.
And - as the reptile was captured crawling around on his rock - he appeared to strike an identical pose to Spidey's favoured crouching pose.

The lizard is a Mwanza Flat Headed Agama, which are native to Africa and usually live in groups with one dominant male - usually the most colourful.
Rich Nunn from Nostalgia and Comics in Birmingham said the resemblance was uncanny.

He said: 'This is the only animal I have ever seen with colouring so unbelievably similar. It's especially like Spiderman in the chest, arms and legs.
'His colourings are extremely bright making him look like he's dressed in a suit - crawling around on the rock.

    MEET CHAIN-SMOKING AND BEER-SWILLING CHIMPANZEE

They are our closest living relatives.

But one chimpanzee may have taken the similarities between primate and man too far after being snapped chain smoking and enjoying a cold, can of lager.
The ape puffed on a cigarette at Tianshan wild animal zoo in Tianshan, Xinjiang, China, exhaling like a pro in the sweltering heat.

SAY HELLO TO 8YR CROWNED WORLD UGLIEST DOG

Almost every year for the past decade, a Chinese crested has won theWorld's Ugliest Dog Contest in Petaluma, California. This year was no exception.
The 2012 winner, crowned on June 22, is eight-year-old Mugly, a bald and beady-eyed crested who sports stringy whiskers weirdly reminiscent of dental floss. (See a picture of Miss Ellie, 2009 World's Ugliest Dog.)
What makes the dog so ugly is its signature hairlessness, said Adam Boyko, an authority on canine genetics at Cornell University.
"If you see a lot of hairless people, for instance, all of a sudden you're going to start noticing moles and weird skin," Boyko said. "It just makes everything else that's weird stand out more." In the case of the Chinese crested, the crinkly, mottled skin is prominently displayed.A Chinese Crested dog named Mugly.

    EVER SEEN A FLYING SQUIREL?(PHOTOS)

It might look nuts but this tiny squirrel thinks nothing of making incredible 150-foot leaps through the trees.
As these amazing pictures show the southern flying squirrel becomes more bird than mammal as it stretches out its body into a natural glider.
Despite being nocturnal, the cute critter was caught on camera by British photographer Kim Taylor making its nighttime jumps.

Mr Taylor used a clever combination of a 150mm camera lens and a special 3,500 volt high-speed flash triggered by an infra red beam to capture the images.
Southern flying squirrels are lightweight at just 65g feed mostly on insects, nuts and acorns.

'These animals are strictly nocturnal and live in tree holes, such as disused woodpecker holes,' said Mr Taylor, 79, who runs his own studio called Warren Photographic, in Guildford, England.
'They feed mainly on nuts and acorns and glide from tree to tree on stretched skin flaps, each time losing height while gliding and gaining height by climbing the next tree.'

Horrific images of how animals are being killed, cooked and served up as meal in China

These disturbing images show dogs being cooked and served up as a meal in a grim Chinese tradition.
The animals are chopped up and cooked in front of diners - despite a growing anti-cruelty campaign.
A group of Chinese activists in Yulin City, Guangxi province, descended on the dog meat market campaigning against eating the animals.

Meet Florence, the world's first vegetarian shark who prefers celery sticks and cucumber to fish

A shark at the Birmingham National Sea Life Center is surprising her handlers - she appears to be the world's first vegetarian shark.
Florence, a six-foot nurse shark, started life as a meat-eater, but following an operation in 2009 to remove a rusty hook from her jaw, she has completely stopped eating her normal prey.
In fact, her handlers need to resort to devious tactics to get protein into Florence's diet - such as hiding pieces of fish inside her celery, and even in hollowed-out cucumbers.

The 10 most painful stings on the planet, by the self-sacrificing man who tried 150 different varieties in the name of science

Most of us will have felt the pain of a bee sting. Luckily most of us will have avoided the dreaded pain of a tarantula hawk or a fire ant.
Justin Schmidt felt all three of these - and 147 other horrible, burning sensations - after a dedicated life-long career devoted to insects.
On numerous fieldwork trips, The University of Arizona entomologist would find himself digging up living colonies of creatures, who in turn were not happy with this destructive human scooping them into bags - and promptly sank their fangs, stingers or pincers into him.
Still, no pain, no gain, and Schmidt turned his experiences into the Schmidt Sting Pain Index, ranking 78 species in a list which, while subjective, was put together by the man who must surely know best, ranking their pain on a scale of 1 to 4.

COUNTDOWN OF THE TOP 10 STINGERS: HOW SCHMIDT RATED THE PAIN

Registrar reveals how pet owners spend £20,000 marrying loved up animals

An animal registrar has revealed how some clients spend up to £20,000 marrying their loved up pets.
For a £150 fee, any small mammal can get wed in Ann Clark’s back garden in Desborough, Northamptonshire.
But she says some besotted owners go to extreme lengths, hiring outside caterers, professional photographers, and even chauffeur driven limousines for their pampered companions.

      RARE LOBSTER TURNS HEAD

So you think blue lobsters are rare? The New England Aquarium is holding a lobster that's way rarer than that.
The aquarium in Boston says it has a calico lobster that could be a 1-in-30 million find.
The lobster is dark with bright orange and yellow spots. It was caught off Winter Harbor, Maine, and is being held at the New England Aquarium for the Biomes Marine Biology Center, a science center in Rhode Island.
Aquarium spokesman Tony Lacasse says calico lobsters are quite rare.
The Maine-based Lobster Conservancy says perhaps one lobster in 1 million is blue, while both the orange and calico versions might be as rare as 1 in 30 million.
