BET Awards 2012: Kanye West Leads Nominations; Samuel L. Jackson Hosting;Wizkikd and Ice prince nominated.CHECKOUT NOMINEES

Kanye West earned the most nominations for the 2012 BET Awards. The rapper received seven nods -- six of which came from his Watch the Throne collaboration with Jay-Z, who earned five nominations himself.

Jay-Z's wife and mother of 4-month-old daughter Blue Ivy, Beyonce, earned the second highest nominations with six.

The BET Awards will air July 1 live from L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium and Samuel L. Jackson is set to host. Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj are confirmed to perform at the show.
