Marc Anthony Reportedly Wanted To Get Back Together, J. Lo Chose New Boyfriend Casper

Despite officially filing for divorce from Jennifer Lopez on Monday, Marc Anthony actually may have wanted to get back together, according to TMZ. But J. Lo decided to stay with new boyfriend Casper Smart instead.
Sources told TMZ Anthony was "blindsided" and "hurt" by Lopez's assertion that she is "madly in love" with Casper since he hadn't thought their relationship to be "so serious."

Poor Marc. That could be why, after almost nine months of being separated, he finally filed divorce papers.
Back in June, the couple announced their separation with a joint statement:

"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

The pair have been married since 2004 and are parents to 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
