Bobbi Kristina involved in car accident with boyfriend Nick 'as couple argued'

The 19-year-old actress - the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, who died in February this year - was a passenger in boyfriend Nick Gordon's black 2012 Camaro when it was severely damaged in Georgia at the weekend.

It is currently unclear how the accident happened.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, the couple had been arguing at the time of the crash - which destroyed the entire front end of the vehicle - and Nick's Camaro was the only car involved. No one was injured.

13 die on Benin-Ore road

Abuja – No fewer than 13 passengers died in a motor accident on the Benin-Ore road, the  Federal Road Safety Commission  (FRSC) confirmed on Sunday.

In a statement issued by Mr Bisi Kazeem, Deputy Corps Public Education Officer,  the commission stated that the accident happened at kilometre 53, before Ohosun town, zone 5.12 toll gate unit command in Edo State at 7.45 a.m on Sunday.

Kazeem said the accident, which involved two vehicles, was caused by the driver of the Anambra Mass Transit Toyota Hiace bus, with registration number YB 610 EPE (Lagos), who for no reason drove against traffic on the Benin-Ore lane.

The driver faced an oncoming Iveco truck descending a slope, resulting in head-on collision.

The bus was coming from Lagos carrying traders dealing in electronics and 13 out of the passengers in the bus died, while three people survived including the truck driver.

73 bodies found at crash site - Dana Airplane Crash

So far, 73 bodies have been recovered by rescue workers from the wreckage of Dana Air flight 0992 that crashed in Iju Ishaga, Lagos on Sunday June 3rd. The tail of the aircraft was also lifted from the ground this morning at 10.32a.m.

Investigation into Dana Air crash has begun, says NCAA boss

Lagos – Investigation into the DANA Air crash on the outskirts of Lagos on Sunday has begun, according to the Director General of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Dr Harold Demuren.
Demuren, who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on phone on Sunday, in Lagos, said that the flight originated from Abuja.

Mid-Day Crash On Constitution Road Abuja

Two cars were involved in a mid-day accident on Constitution Road, between the Churchgate Junction and the NNPC mega station on Sunday in Abuja.
The number of casualties as at the time of the report were unknown but the cars that collided were badly damaged.
According to an eye witness, who did not want his name mentioned, the accident was as a result of impatience on the T-junction.
He said that the accident would not have happened if the Honda car which hit a street light pole, had exercised a “little” patience to give way to the occupant of the Mazda car.
When NAN sought to find out about the occupants of the two cars, the eyewitness said that they had been taken to the hospital.
He, however, said he did not know where they were taken to. (NAN)
