He is still doggedly wearing his wedding ring despite the exposure of his affair with Kristen Stewart.
And now it has been claimed that Rupert Sanders is doing everything in his power to save his marriage to Liberty Ross, with whom he has two children.
The 41-year-old Snow White and the Huntsman director, pictured yesterday still doggedly wearing his wedding ring, is said to be 'desperate' to convince model Liberty to give him another chance after the photographs of him and Kristen were published.

Sources close to the movie director told TMZ.com that Sanders has been 'begging' Liberty for a reunion, but the British model is said to be 'non-committal' about her estranged husband's pleas.
According to the website, Liberty has reportedly imposed various 'conditions' that Sanders must stick to if she does decide to give him another chance.
However, TMZ.com also claim that Liberty's decision about a possible reunion with her husband is likely to take 'months'.

The new reports come after Liberty was pictured looking relaxed and carefree at the premiere of Shia LeBouf's latest film Lawless on Wednesday night.
The model and actress was spotted laughing and apparently happy at the post-movie party at nightspot Eden.
She was joined by her composer brother Atticus and their rocker friend Nick Cave, who wrote the screenplay and co-composed the soundtrack.
Liberty's appearance at the event came as it was reported the mother-of-two is 'refusing to hide' following her husband's infidelity.
A source told the New York Post: 'She won't hide at home. Liberty has shown incredible grace going through a difficult situation where all the intimate details are very public.
'She is a very emotionally smart woman. She knows she can take her time and make her own decision, one that would be the best for her and her family.

But Liberty, 33, was not the only wronged party getting on with their lives last night.
For Robert Pattinson, who had been dating Kristen, 22, for four years before the betrayal, smiled through the pain as he made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
And it seemed the actor had been working on some material for the show, as he joked he was 'homeless' when the chat show host asked him where he was living just now.
And while the 26-year-old heartthrob did not speak about the drama enveloping his personal life, he did quip that he had recently discovered dogging, where people drive to car parks to have sex with random partners.
He said: 'I used to turn up at this parking lot looking at everyone like, "Why are all these guys sitting around in their cars all the time?"
'And I'm going there everyday kinda thinking nothing of it, coming out in my little Lycra pants, and one day there was a big raid.'
Meanwhile the final party in the scandal has been advised by her mentor Jodie Foster to show her face in public.
A source told Radar: 'She told Kristen that it was no good moping around the house and that the sooner she faced the world and was seen in public, the quicker she can move on with her life.'
