ANOTHER big day for the Zuckerbergs: Newlyweds attend wedding of New York's gay power couple (and fellow Facebook founder)

Just weeks after tying the knot himself, Mark Zuckerberg was in New York attending another wedding this weekend - that of gay power couple Chris Hughes and Sean Eldridge.

Facebook co-founder, Mr Hughes, 28, got married to Mr Eldridge, 25, on Saturday at the couple's $5 million estate in Garrison, New York, according to the New York Times' Vows section today.
The ceremony, attended by around 75 guests, was followed by a knees up for 400 complete with a big band jazz orchestra at Cipriani on Wall Street.

Along with Mr Zuckerberg, whose presence was leaked by insiders, guests including Ivanka Trump, Arianna Huffington and Senator Chuck Schumer partied into the night.

But despite the late evening, the social media mogul and new wife Priscilla Chan ensured they made most of their trip to the Big Apple.
The couple, him in jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers and her in a casual t-shirt and shorts, were snapped yesterday out and about in New York City's sweltering heat.

Mr Zuckerberg and Mr Hughes, whose fortune Forbes estimates at $700 million, weren't the only ones to make honest men and women of their partners after Facebook went public in May.
Fellow Facebook co-founder and engineer Andrew McCollum wedded Gretchen Sisson at a seaside affair in Newport, Rhode Island, two weeks ago. The newlyweds also attended Mr Hughes' wedding on the weekend.
Mr Hughes, who bought a majority stake in The New Republic in April, appointing himself publisher and editor-in-chief, and his new husband, an investor and political activist, have emerged as a significant force in New York's political circles.

'They are very generous with their money and time. They are young, rich, smart and good-looking. It’s a pretty powerful combination.'
Other wedding guests included Sean Parker, City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Gayle King and playwright Tony Kushner.
Senator Chris Coons also attended, tweeting a photograph of the cake, covered in pistachio icing and topped with a figurine of two well dressed men.
