UNILAG/MAU GO NUDE TO PROTEST WHILE POLICE FIRE TEARGAS AT PROTESTING UNILAG STUDENTS, FEMALE STUDENT COLLAPSES

This change of name as taken another toll as some student are taking advantage of the situation, while some people are in support of the change of name like some of the Late Abiola family members, his daughter blasted GEJ via twitter yesterday, personally i dont think the change of name will go down well with the student and the school admin management, but from the look of things,it practically looks like the president is not having a change of mind anytime soon, some of the girls have vowed to go nude if GEJ does not reverse his comment, but lets the face, this same Unilag girls already have bad

reputation, while some of them are believed to be in school just to chase men, since their campus is open to every tom, dick and harry, this same girls have taken it upon themselves to go nude, please o,how will this change GEJ mind?nude girls on the street, what he sees everyday,as a matter of fact how many ladies fully dress when they are going out this days, and some are wiling to go naked, now the protest,i thinks the protest is very discouraging and disturbing because GEJ is not not in Lagos so why distort the operation of Lagos, why not match in Abuja?i am not supporting GEJ,but let's the fact MAUITES should go and match in Abuja and what will going nude do to the Federal Govt?abeg there are better ways to go about it.Personally i dont know where GEJ got his idea from ooooo, why not just change Ogun state University since Moshood Abiola Polythecnic is also in the same state,me i am just saying o

Anti-riot police today fired teargas at protesting UNILAG students in front of the university's main gate. A female student reportedly collapsed and was rushed to the university medical centre.

There is an indication that the university would be shutdown today as crisis deepens. The street protest was as a result of renaming of the institution after the late businessman cum politician, Moshood Abiola, see pictures of the students occupying Third Mainland Bridge HERE and protesting HERE.
According to PREMIUM TIMES, the university’s Dean of Student Affairs, Professor Olukayode Amund, subsisting directive from the Senate to close down the school would be enforced today.
