The Loose Women presenter admitted in an interview with the Daily Mirror today that she is happier than ever with her toyboy.
Denise, 53, spoke of her joy about her relationship following a difficult year which saw her announce her split from husband Tim Healy after 24 years.
Romance: Denise Welch said she is very much in love with party planner Lincoln Townley and the pair are moving in together
'I'm so happy!' Denise was seen getting a kiss from Lincoln after her performance in Steel Magnolias earlier this week
Now the pair are planning to move in together, looking for a new home near Denise's family base in Cheshire.
Denise added that her relationship with party planner Lincoln has done nothing to harm her relationship with estranged husband Tim, who is now also happily dating someone else - cleaner Joan Anderton.
She added to the Daily Mirror: 'I was slated over the break-up but people ignored the fact that it's great that Tim and I have been able to move on and to salvage a friendship.'
As well as her personal life going from strength to strength, Denise's professional life is heading in the same direction as she has made her return to theatre after an eight-year break.
Denise is currently starring as Truvy in the production of Steel Magnolias, based on the original play and 1989 film of the same name.
And the actress, who takes on the role played by Dolly Parton in the original movie, admitted she knew straight away that she wanted a part in the show.
Moving on: Denise said she was 'slated' over her break-up from Tim Healy after 24 years of marriage
She said ahead of the production: 'Steel Magnolias came in, I looked at the script and knew instinctively I would want to do it. I love the film. I need to do some theatre and if I don’t do it now I might lose my bottle a bit.
'It’s also perfect as it is an ensemble piece so it’s not that all the pressure is on me, like with Little Voice, which was a mammoth role and you had to carry it.'
The show, which tells the story of a group of women living in Natchitoches, Louisiana, also stars Kacey Ainsworth, Isla Blair, Cheryl Campbell, Cherie Lunghi and Sadie Pickering.
