'That's £20 for all-you-CAN'T-eat': Restaurant 'fines' diners at Chinese buffet for leaving food on their plates

Beverley Clark, 40, (pictured with son Sam and niece Toni) says she was asked to pay an extra £20 at the Kylin Buffet in Ocean Road, South Shields, because they left two onion rings, a piece of prawn toast, and a spring roll on their plates. Staff pointed out a notice (right) that explained customers would be charged for 'wastage of food'.
