Lady Gaga Sports Rainbow Hair in Japan, Deemed Satanic by Muslim Group

Gaga makes the rainbow connection

Lady Gaga's arrival in Tokyo for the Japan leg of her "Born This Way Ball" world tour was a colorful experience for the hundreds of fans who waited for hours to greet her at Narita International Airport on Tuesday. The pop singer turned the tarmac into her own fashion runway as she sashayed past her Little Monsters in a Versace studded leather mini dress, sky-high heels, and a waist-length rainbow-colored ponytail. "Thank u for the sweet welcome Tokyo!" Mother Monster tweeted after touching down in the Japanese capital. "Your spirit is a rainbow like my hair."

Before her three-night run in Tokyo, Gaga wrapped four sold-out nights in Hong Kong. But although tickets are hard to come by for her other upcoming shows in Taipei, Manila, Bangkok, and Singapore, not all cities are welcoming the "Marry the Night" singer with open arms. Protests have already begun for her June 3 performance in Jakarta, Indonesia, because a Muslim group there believes that Gaga, 26, promotes devil worship.
"Lady Gaga insults all religions," says a spokesman for the Islamic Defenders' Front. "Even Christians in Korea opposed her. She is promoting the worship of Satan." In the signs protesters have been carrying, there's a red line through a photo of the singer with the message, "LADY GAGA GO TO HELL." So far, no decision has been made whether or not to cancel the show, but last week IDF's chairman Rizieq Shihab warned that if it went on as scheduled, there would be "chaos in Jakarta."
