We never thought this day would come, but Jessica Simpson finally gave birth to a baby girl May 1 in Los Angeles. Named Maxwell Drew Johnson, whose middle name came courtesy of Jessica’s mom Tina Simpson, the new arrival weight in at 9 lbs., 3 oz.
It was beginning to seem like Jessica was going to be pregnant forever, and one NYC obstetrician told HollywoodLife.com on April 30 that labor would likely need to be induced soon.
