Policeman Kills Lady, Absconds With Her Sister

A police corporal who allegedly killed a lady and absconded with the victim’s sister, is now on the run while the Lagos State Police Command has commenced a manhunt for his arrest.
The police corporal identified as Emmanuel with Force Number 234533, shot and killed the unidentified lady with his official rifle at Ifako-Gbagada area of Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.
Nobody could ascertain what led to the shooting incident.
The victim’s sister was identified as Patience.
The whereabouts of Patience and the police corporal could not be ascertained too.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Lagos State Police Command, Supol Joseph Jaiyeoba, confirmed today that the suspect has been officially declared a deserter by the Nigeria Police Force.
Jaiyeoba said if arrested, the suspect would be given an orderly room trial and would be charged to court for murder and abduction.
The PPRO promised to provide more details about the incident but could not do so before press time.
