A 26-year old woman, Ijeoma Abazie has been arrested by the police and charged before Isolo Magistrate’s court, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, for allegedly inducing her sex partner, Dare Bunnmgarner with a substance suspected to be drug in a hotel room and stealing his dollars.
The victim who lodged at the hotel reportedly slept off after rounds sex and she ransacked his pockets and bags, locked him inside and bolted with the money.
The incident happened at a popular hotel at Lambert Imasuen Drive, Ajao Estate, Lagos.
P.M.NEWS gathered that she reportedly offered sex and drugged him and thereafter stole his $1,440 dollars and escaped.
But while on her way, the hotel guard searched her and discovered that she hid the key to the hotel room and wanted to escape with it.
She was promptly arrested and handed over to the police.
She is now facing a six-count charge of felony and stealing under section 278 of the criminal code laws of Lagos State 2011. She pleaded not guilty.
The presiding magistrate, Mrs. I. O. Akinkugbe granted her bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 30 April 2012, while she was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri Apapa, Lagos pending when she will meet her bail conditions.
