EVANGELIST EBENEZER OBEY CLOCKS 70

Evangelist (Dr.) Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi recently turned 70 on the 3rd of April 2012. Born Ebenezer Olasupo Fabiyi on the 3rd of April 1942, Obey began his musical career with Pa Fatai Rolling Dollar’s band in the 1950s. In 1964, he formed his own band called The International Brothers. The band transmuted into Inter-Reformers Band in the early 1970s. Obey flourished, becoming one of the most popular, prolific, and influential musicians in Nigeria. He has released nearly a hundred albums. Here are a few pictures from the very well attended event
